Dear VBF Chambers,
As you may know, the National Assembly will review the draft amended Law on Value Added Tax (VAT) at their seventh Session in May 2024.
As this legislation holds significant implications for businesses operating in Vietnam, we would like to enclose herewith the draft Law for your review.
Should your esteemed Chamber/ Chamber's members have any comments, please kindly send them to the VBF Secretariat using the enclosed template (in Vietnamese for submission along with English translation). Your inputs are crucial in ensuring that the final version of the VAT law effectively addresses the needs and concerns of businesses and promotes a favorable business environment. Due to the time constraint, we would appreciate your input/ comments by COB Thursday, 11 April 2024 for our further action.
We expect to hold a workshop to discuss the mentioned draft law with Government agencies at the end of this month.
